ClearKarma offers an interactive food label for restaurants to help you check your food and make safer choices! Eating out is unsafe for people with food-related health problems and other special dietary needs (allergies, obesity, vegetarians...). A game-changing EU-regulation will support this information need and so does our solution: ClearKarma develops a multilingual web/mobile application for restaurants, bakeries or catering companies to publish information about nutrition/allergens and engage in a dialogue with their customers. We support restaurants to structure menu data. Recipes are analyzed to help search and read allergens automatically in real-time. Consumers can scan a QR-code on a menu with their smartphone to find dishes they can eat. Compliance to a new EU-regulation by the end of 2014 is a must for all food businesses, who need to show allergens. Our aim is to become the EU-standard for restaurant food labeling.
